HUIT BLANC is a Lépine-style mechanical pocket watch, distinguished by its crown positioned at 12 o’clock. Its predominantly white design is enlivened by eight contrasting multicoloured screws, giving the watch a clean appearance with a playful Royal Pop character.

White Lépine-Style Royal Pop Design

HUIT BLANC features a white dial with a distinctive tapisserie-style effect. This textured geometric pattern references one of the most recognisable visual elements associated with Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak design language.

The hands and hour markers are coated with Grade A Super-LumiNova®, producing a blue emission in low-light conditions and helping improve visibility of the time.

A white octagonal Bioceramic bezel surrounds the dial. The bezel is accented by eight multicoloured hexagonal Bioceramic screws, creating a vibrant contrast against the otherwise all-white design.

The matching white Bioceramic crown is positioned at 12 o’clock, identifying HUIT BLANC as one of the six Lépine-style models in the Royal Pop collection.

The case, bezel and holder feature a vertically satin-finished appearance that adds depth and texture while retaining the smooth, lightweight character associated with Swatch Bioceramic.

Hand-Wound SISTEM51 Mechanical Movement

HUIT BLANC is powered by a specially redesigned, hand-wound version of Swatch’s SISTEM51 mechanical movement. This is a manually wound mechanical watch and does not require a battery.

The watch must be wound using the crown to maintain operation. The mainspring barrel forms part of the visible mechanical design and also acts as an indication of the remaining power reserve.

The movement can be viewed through the transparent sapphire caseback. A Pop Art-inspired printed detail adds a playful visual element that complements the colourful Royal Pop design.

When winding the watch, turn the crown carefully and stop when resistance increases. Avoid forcing the crown once the movement is fully wound.

Swatch Bioceramic Construction

The case, bezel, crown, holder and decorative screws incorporate Swatch’s proprietary Bioceramic material.

Swatch Bioceramic combines two-thirds ceramic with one-third biosourced material derived from castor oil. The material provides a smooth, silky matte finish while helping the watch remain lightweight and comfortable to carry or wear with compatible Royal Pop accessories.

Sapphire Crystal and Display Caseback

The front of the watch is protected by a sapphire crystal, offering enhanced scratch resistance compared with conventional plastic watch crystals.

An anti-reflective coating helps improve dial visibility under different lighting conditions. The transparent sapphire caseback also allows the hand-wound SISTEM51 mechanical movement to remain visible.

Modular Royal Pop Styling

The Bioceramic Royal Pop collection reinterprets the modular concept of Swatch’s original POP watches. The watch module can be removed from its holder and styled using compatible Royal Pop accessories.
