Further detailAbout this watch

This vintage Exactus Chronographe is a distinctive manual-winding two-register chronograph featuring a silver/off-white dial, gilt Arabic numerals, contrasting subsidiary registers and a red outer tachymeter scale marked “Base 1000”. The dial is signed “Exactus Chronographe” together with “Antimagnetic” and “17 Rubis”. The yellow-gold caseback is visibly hallmarked 18K / 0.750. Offered in Good Condition on a brown textured leather strap, this individual example is supplied without its original box or papers.

Exactus Chronographe Antimagnetic 17 Rubis

The dial gives this vintage Exactus much of its character. Its classic bi-compax layout uses two subsidiary registers positioned at approximately 3 and 9 o'clock, complemented by a central red chronograph seconds hand. Applied gilt Arabic numerals sit against the silver/off-white dial, while the outer red tachymeter scale is marked “Base 1000”.

The exact production year and reference number have not been confirmed, so neither is represented as definitive on this watch.

18K / 0.750 Hallmarked Gold Case

The caseback of this individual watch is visibly stamped 18K and 0.750, indicating 18-carat gold fineness. Additional markings and the number 292562 are visible on the caseback; this number has not been identified as a specific Exactus reference and is therefore not presented as the model reference.

The case shows visible surface scratches, marks and age-related wear consistent with a vintage pre-owned watch. The polished fixed bezel also displays surface wear.

Manual-Winding Chronograph

This Exactus uses a mechanical manual-winding chronograph configuration with 17 jewels stated on the dial. Its functions include hours, minutes, running seconds, central chronograph seconds and a 30-minute chronograph register.

The exact movement calibre has not been confirmed and will not be attributed until the movement has been inspected.

Imperial Time team is very knowledgeable

5 | 5.0 Reviews

Although the team couldn’t quite give me the watch I was looking for, I feel sure they will be able to source it and get back to me. The guys were very knowledgeable and didn’t have any hard sell tactics, just simply wanted to please, and the watch I was shown was a beautiful piece, just not quite the configuration I was looking for. I’m sure I'll be back.
